Eligibility Criteria for ESSO Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

1. Project Scientist ‘C’ - M.Sc. in Computer Sciences or MCA or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or its equivalent from a recognized university / institute with atleast first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree.

2. Project Scientist ‘C’ - Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc., M. Tech., M.Sc.(Tech.)) in Oceanic Sciences/ Atmospheric Sciences / Climate Sciences / Meteorology / Oceanography / Physical Oceanography / Physics / Mathematics or its equivalent from a recognized university

3. Project Scientist ‘B’ - M.Sc in Electronics or B.Tech / B.E or equivalent in Electronics & Communications Engineering from a recognized university / institute with atleast first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree

4. Project Scientist ‘B’ - Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc., M. Tech.,, M.Sc.(Tech.)) in Atmospheric Sciences / Oceanic Sciences / Climate Sciences / Meteorology / Oceanography / Physical Oceanography / Physics/Mathematics or its equivalent from a recognized university / institute with at least a first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree

5. Project Scientist ‘B’ - Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc., M. Tech., M.Sc.(Tech.)) in Oceanic Sciences/ Atmospheric Sciences / Climate Sciences / Meteorology / Oceanography / Physical Oceanography / Physics / Mathematics

6. Project Scientist ‘B’ - M.Sc in Fishery Science/MFSc. or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute with at least first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree.

7. Project Scientist ‘B’ - M.Sc in Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geospatial Sciences or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute with at least a first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree.8. Project Assistant -

9. Project Assistant - B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA OR Three years diploma in computer engineering / science or computer technology after 10+2 (with 60% marks) or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized board or university

10. Project Assistant - Three years Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering after 10+2 (with 60% of marks) or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized board or university. Basic knowledge of computers.

11. Project Assistant - Three years Diploma in engineering Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Biological Sciences/Marine Biology/Physics/Chemistry from a recognized university/board with at least first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degreen Computer Science or Information Technology after 10+2 (with 60% of marks) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university.

12. Project Junior Office Assistant - A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university, basic knowledge of computer and minimum 5 years experience preferably in Govt. / PSU/Autonomous Bodies / in the relevant area in PB-1+GP. Rs.2400/- or its equivalent.

13. Project Co-ordinator - i) 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board or university. ii) Skill test norms Shorthand dictation : 10 mts @ 80 w.p.m. (English)  Transcription : 50 mts. (English) on computer

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1, 2 - 40 Years), (For Post 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 - 35 Years), (For Post 7, 8, 9, 10 - 28 Years), (For Post 11 - 32 Years), (For Post 12 - 30 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
