Eligibility Criteria for AIESL Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
1. Aircraft Technician (FTE) Airframe & Engine, Avionics:
a ) For candidates other than Ex-serviceman AME Diploma/ Certificate in an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Institutions approved by DGCA under Rule 133 B. Candidates from DGCA approved AME Training Institutes who are eligible, as per current list. OR Diploma (3 Years) / Degree in Engineering (4 Years) in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics / Aeronautical and Telecommunication/ Radio Engineering
b) For Ex-serviceman Successful completion of Group 1 related equivalent qualification of Diploma in Engineering for Airframe/Engine/Electrical/ Instrument/Radio / Aeronautical trades conducted by the Indian Air Force, which are acceptable as a qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination.
2. Aircraft Technician (FTE) Backshops
a ) For candidates other than Ex-serviceman AME Diploma/ Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Institutions approved by DGCA under Rule 133 B. OR Diploma / Degree in Engineering (3 Years) in Mechanical/Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics / Aeronautical and Telecommunication/ Radio Engineering or equivalent recognized by Central/State Government
b ) For Ex-servicemen Successful completion of Group 1 related equivalent qualification of Diploma in Engineering for Airframe/Engine/Electrical/Instrument/Radio / Aeronautical trades conducted by the Indian Air Force, which area acceptable as a qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination.
Age Limit:
Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 35 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
