Eligibility Criteria for CSIR Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification:
1. GAP Project - M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science/ Electronics/ Remote Sensing/ Environmental Science/ Instrumentation or equivalent5 with minimum 55% marks plus two years experience in relevant field after acquiring essential educational qualification OR Ph.D. in the above relevant areas (b) For SRF: Essential Qualification: M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science/ Electronics/ Remote Sensing/ Environmental Science/ Instrumentation or equivalent5 with minimum 55% marks OR B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Electronics/ Remote Sensing/ Environmental Science/ Instrumentation or equivalent5 with minimum 55% marks plus two years experience in relevant field after acquiring essential educational qualification Desirable [for (a) & (b)]: 1) Hands-on image processing tools and softwares such as ENVI, geostatistics and tools such as Geographical Information System (GIS), etc. 2) Knowledge of soft computing techniques, machine learning and artificial intelligence tools and optimisation techniques such as Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle Swam Optimisation (PSW), etc. 3) Experience in hyperspectral imaging data handling, and remote sensing software tools. 4) Experience in developing codes in high level languages such as Python, VC++, etc. 5) Exposure in working on Matlab, R, R-PI, Arduino, etc. 6) Willingness to travel/field work. 7) Candidates desirous for PhD admission will be given preference

CSIR Project - B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics or equivalent5 with minimum 55% marks (b) For PA Level-III: Essential Qualification: M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics or equivalent5 with minimum 55% marks OR B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science Information Technology/ Electronics or equivalent5 with minimum 55% marks plus two years experience in relevant field after acquiring essential educational qualification Desirable [for (a) & (b)]: 1)Knowledge of signal processing, machine learning, android application, server/cloud application development. 2) Strong knowledge of object oriented programming in Java/C/C++/Python
3. MLP Project - B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science or equivalent5 with minimum 55% marks (b) For PA Level-III: Essential Qualification: M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics/ Computer Science/ Mobile Computing/ Cloud Computing or equivalent5 with minimum 55% marks OR B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science or equivalent5 with minimum 55% marks plus two years experience in relevant field after acquiring essential educational qualification Desirable [for (a) & (b)]: 1)Knowledge of algorithms, database and cloud computing. 2) Programming knowledge of C/ C++/ Python/ Java/ PHP/ LARAVEL/ SQL and cloud-based application development. 3) Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates
Age Limit: (As on 29.08.2018 & 30.08.2018)
Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 35 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
