Educational Qualification:

 (i) Mechanical - Full Time 4 years B. E. or B. Tech. degree / Integrated M. Tech / Dual - degree B. Tech - M. Tech. Programme / B. Sc. - B. Tech. / B. Tech. through lateral entry in Mechanical / Power Plant Engineering from any University recognized by UGC / Institute approved by AICTE or from IITs / NITs having at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.

(ii) Electrical - Full Time 4 years B. E. or B. Tech. degree / Integrated M. Tech / Dual - degree B. Tech - M. Tech. Programme / B. Sc. - B. Tech. / B. Tech. through lateral entry in Electrical Engineering from any University recognized by UGC / Institute approved by AICTE or from IITs / NITs having at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA

(iii) Instrumentation -Full Time 4 years B. E. or B. Tech. degree / Integrated M. Tech / Dual - degree B. Tech - M. Tech. Programme / B. Sc. - B. Tech. / B. 2. Assistant Manager (Civil) - Probationer * - Full Time 4 years B. E. / B. Tech. / Integrated M. Tech. / Dual - Degree B. Tech. - M. Tech. / B. Sc. - B. Tech. / B. Tech. through lateral entry programme in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering from a University recognized by UGC / Institute approved by AICTE or from IITs / NITs having at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA

3. Assistant Manager (HR&A) - Probationer* - MHRM (2 years full time course) with specialization in Personnel Management / IR / HR or Post-Graduate Degree / Diploma (2 years full time course) with specialization in Personnel Management / IR / HR from a University recognized by UGC / Institute approved by AICTE or from IIMs / XLRI / IIT B-Schools.

4. Assistant Manager (F&A) - Probationer* - Qualified ACA / ACMA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / Cost Accountants of India.

5. Assistant Manager (Corporate Communication) - Probationer* - Honours Graduate in English / Bengali with 60% marks in honours subject with 2 years full time Post-Graduate Degree / Diploma in Public Relations / Mass Communication from a recognized University / Institute

6. Welfare Officer* - 2 years full time Post-Graduate Degree / Diploma / MBA / MHRM with specialization in Personnel Management / IR / HR from a University recognized by UGC / Institute approved by AICTE or from IIMs / XLRI / IIT B – School with 3 years post qualification experience in coal mines / industrial undertaking as Welfare Officer / Labour Officer / Personnel Officer OR b) Graduate with Diploma in Social Science / Social Work / Labour Welfare with 15 years post qualification experience in mines / industrial undertaking as Welfare Officer / Labour Officer / Personnel Officer

Age Limit:

 (i) 32 years as on 01.08.2018 for General category candidates applying against Sl. 01 to 05. (ii) 35 years as on 01.08.2018 for Welfare Officer having experience of 03 years against Sl. 6(a) and

(iii) 45 years as on 01.08.2018 for Welfare Officer having experience of 15 years against Sl. 6(b). Age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer), 10 years for PWD candidates as per norms. Relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / EC / Ex Servicemen / PWD candidates shall be allowed as per extant norms subject to maximum of 45 years considering all applicable relaxations.
